I took an Introduction to Python class during my last year at NYU, and this class opened my eyes to an entirely new world of programming. I'm fluent in Python, R, and SQL(PostgreSQL and MySQL). I'm currently furthur studying machine learning and web design on my own.
Thanks to NYC, I got to visit restaurants with authetic dishes from all over the world. My favourite dishes are Shanghai crab meat soup dumpling, Korean doenjang jjigae, and Tortilla Espanola. Stay tuned for my cooking blog coming this fall!

In 2018, BBC polled 177 critics over the world to figure out the top 100 movies of 21st Century. As a movie lover, I created an interactive map that enables audience to learn more about where the top movies are from.
The Belt and Road Initiative is a global development strategy adopted by the Chinese government involving infrastructure development and investments in Asia, Europe, Africa, the Middle East, and the Americas. With the help of QGIS, I mapped out China's Belt and Road initiative route from scratch to showcase the 21st century silk road.
In this project, I built different prediction models to predict cumulative view time per day (popularity metric) based on 4000+ data points with 16 features, such as genre, imdb votes, and box office.

The motivation and goal for this project is to help SFPD better plan their police force coverage over all the districts over the day, and also help tourists identify dangerous districts and hours to visit in SF.
During this coursework project, I conducted online analytical processing on 15-year SF crime data on Databricks using Spark SQL and Dataframes API to gain insights into crime trends from 2003 to 2018 and provide some police power, policy adjustment, and tourism advices.
Amazon launched Amazon Spark in 2017, aiming to build Amazon’s own social ecommerce platform where Prime members can have a one-stop experience of discovering, sharing, and purchasing Amazon products through shoppable feeds, without leaving Amazon’s mobile application. However, Spark is not well accepted by the public.
Imagine I am a member of Amazon Spark analytics team, in this semester-long project, I aimed to persuade audience about the importance of analytics to improve performance of Amazon Spark, I've developed a series of written, verbal, and visual deliverables in multiple modalities for various audiences, including data experts, consumer experts (marketing team), and executive leadership.
